The service
unfolds.city is a collection of living, illustrated web cities informed by real local information such as time and weather. City life is simulated; it is not live tracking of people or transport. Advertising is a secondary service: renting digital placements within these web cities, not physical outdoor advertising. We do not guarantee impressions, clicks or reach. Terms of purchase
Advertising is sold to businesses only, not to consumers. Each order identifies its city, placements, selected days, creative and final price before payment, and you accept the Terms of Purchase in force at the time of the order; the accepted version is stored with the order. You must have the rights to your creative and it must follow the content rules in the terms. Where performing an order would breach sanctions or our payment provider's rules, we may refuse it, or cancel a paid order before its first campaign day with a full refund. Purchase options and price
A placement is priced per day in US dollars; the price shown in the offer and order summary applies and excludes VAT (the order summary states the tax treatment). Businesses established in an EU country other than the Czech Republic need a VAT ID verified in VIES before paying. A campaign is a set of specific calendar days per placement, in the city’s time zone, up to 30 days per placement, and each placement has its own minimum order and lead time. Several placements can be bought in one order and paid once by card through Stripe. Payment is one-off, with no automatic renewal. Online purchasing is not publicly open yet. Digital delivery
When you upload a creative, we only check that the file meets our technical requirements (format, size, dimensions, aspect ratio, no transparency and no animation); we do not check its content by automated means. After payment a person reviews every creative before it is displayed, targeting two business days from payment; nothing is shown without approval, and a day on which the creative is not approved by 04:00 city time is refunded in full. A paid campaign runs on the purchased days in the city’s time zone. Delivery is digital; nothing is shipped. We may take down unlawful content or content that breaks the terms. Cancellation and refunds
An unpaid order can be cancelled at any time. A paid order can be cancelled in your account before its first campaign day: we then submit a refund of the full price to your card automatically (manually within 5 business days if the automatic submission fails), and your card issuer usually credits it within 5 to 10 business days. After the campaign has started, the order cannot be cancelled. Duplicate or late payments are refunded in full. If we do not deliver purchased days, you receive a refund for the undelivered days. If content is rejected or removed for breaking a prohibited-category rule, we refund the price of the day of the decision in full and the price of the later purchased days less a fee of 20 % of the item price (minimum USD 20, never more than the refundable price of those later days), within 5 business days; rejection for another reason is refunded without a fee.
